About Us - continued .....

Ch. Cranstal Chaos and Ch. Cranstal Chance in 1984

The subsequent litter consisted of five puppies and included the two that we kept - Ch. Cranstal Chaos and her brother Ch. Cranstal Chance. There were also Charm & Charisma (bitches) and Challenge (dog). Whilst we were delighted to make up two salukis from our first litter it carried more than its share of heartbreak. Chaos died at the age of 4 1/2 - as a result of ongoing complications from eating a piece of bamboo at the age of 18 months - and Chance whilst mated to three very nice bitches never produced any offspring.

The 'E' litter - our second - was not produced until 1993. When Jasrigg Jasquith of Cranstal was mated to Ch. Al Caliphs Pharos. This litter consisted of three puppies Ch. Cranstal Enchantment (b) and Cranstal Enigma (d). Both of these we kept - whilst Cranstal Elegance (b) went back to Jacquie Drake.
